Question regarding using internet on phone

I recently got the Nokia E71 on Three with the Internet Max add on which gives me (from three site):

- 1GB Data (that's 100,000 mobile web pages!)

- Unlimited ISP email (including Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Google Mail) sent straight to your phone.

- Unlimited work email (Exchange and Lotus, and all your attachments) sent straight to your phone.

Now I've always been using the '3' connection to browse the net and download stuff and i haven't been charged as it's obviously coming out of my data allowance. However I have a wireless router at home which is faster than the 3 connection and more stable. My question is if I used this WLAN connection will I be charged or will it come out of my allowance?

Thanks,
KG

Your home wireless broadband connection is totally separate to your mobile connection. When your phone uses WiFi with the router, it is behaving just like any other computer on your home network.

This is based on you referring to a wireless router on a home broadband connection and not using one of those Three routers where you plug a mobile broadband stick in.

So it'll be free then?

And yes it is a normal wireless router using home broadband connection

Wi-Fi is free.

I always find the 3G connection on my C905 mega slow so never bother going for those deals or bold ons from O2.
