Did anyone else watch this on Watch this afternoon? It was originally shown at Christmas 2004.

The standard of skating was nowhere near as good as it is on DOI, and the presentation was quite tacky I thought. I didn't like the way they scored it the same way as they do on SCD either. Its not ballroom dancing, skating is scored differently altogether.

But Jessica Taylor clearly stood out and that was only with four weeks of training! I am expecting her to be very good with around three months of it. Does anyone know who her partner is?

I haven't heard anything about Jessica's partner. Although, I have a feeling it will be Pavel, if he does return.

It was terrible, in a funny way! The medal ceremony bit at the end, little kids skated on to Bolero then Brucie drops the golden medal. Who let that man anywhere near the ice?

They were awful and the choreography was rather rubbish, they did Footloose, a group number, which was done on DOI and it was so much better with Chris choreographing it, the professionals weren't really together and it was all a bit of a mish mash.

Or as Craig would say, dis-arst-er!

Who was that snooty blonde skater who was with Rowland Rivron? God she had a high opinion of herself. and the way she spoke to Craig! Bloody rude! Rowland even admitted himself he wasn't great. She seemed all out for herself.

Please do not let her on DOI at any point in the future.

I loved David Seaman's partner Zoia, can they not bring her into DOI? So bubbly and encouraging.

Her name was Charlotte Clements, I think. Zoia came on a bit too strong, I think. She was barely giving Craig a chance before she went in, guns blazing. It was like she wanted the camera off Craig and on to her!

Most of these professional skaters were British, yet most of the DOI skaters, apart from Dan and Frankie, are all foreign.

Im not being critical of using foreign professionals at all but DOI gives the impression that there are few succesful and talented British skaters out there. Why not bring in some of the others pro's who appeared on Strictly Ice Dancing?

I know Leigh Mack who was with Marcus Patrick was a standby pro on the last series.

Leigh Mack woould be great on DOI.

Susie is British too! The new guy Stuart is also British.

Saw it but missed Jessica. She was runner up anyway and beaten by David Seamen.

I watched it, and was just cringing all the way through. It just all seemed so tacky. I suppose it doesn't help that i'm so used to DOI now and that looks so much better.

But the whole studio looked tacky for a start, the audience sitting all over the place, that weird wave wall running round the outside, the way the skaters come onto the ice, the judges (they all looked cramped together)

Because it was a one off show, they should have given the celebs much longer to learn how to skate and it might have been a bit better. It was horrible watching some of them, they were either really slow, didn't do any good lifts, all out of sync etc. So glad bbc didn't continue with it, ITV did a much better job of it.

Oh i also didn't like how they judged it, like someone else said, ice skating is judged out of 6 by each judge, not 10

Were Craig Revel Horwood and Karen Barber two of the Judges, I saw Nicky Slater and couldn't make out who the other Judge was....Is there anyway of seeing the whole show and not just clips on Youtube?
