Thanks Mesos, Bob and Tamara

I enjoyed reading all that .....

Edited to add: .....

Just thinking about this - I really cannot believe that Jon does not understand why some of us feel the way we do about the Moron .... he obviously does not feel the same way I do - I could not be in the same room as him without wanting to slap that smugness off his face .....

Magic ......uuuughhhhhh .... ????

I think we all enjoyed ourselves - thanks to everyone who submitted questions. I'm glad tamara finally relented to Jon's incessant pleading with her to arrange an interview with us.

Nonetheless I really *did* lose a file of my own questions I'd prepared when we nearly did this interview ages ago... they were corkers too. So we might have to do the whole thing again in the future when I find them.

What an excellent interview, probably the best on-line I have read.
Unusual questions, more like a chat and Jon's replies were honest and full, he came over really well.
Thanks to all involved, I enjoyed that.

Thank you Tamara. Bob, Meso and of course Jon for that.

It has only been Alex and Jon that has caused me massive withdrawal symptoms from BB since the start.

Those two imo will be a hard act to follow.

Thanks and well done, Bob, Mes, and Tamara. Very interesting interview (apart from the nerdy bits, of which I didn't understand a word). What a nice guy!

The reason Jon couldn't sleep answered at last!

Jon
"I had started worrying that they might have changed the rules to let me back in the competition. I didn't want that and I spent time at night worrying about it rather than sleeping, so I slept during the day. The stupid thing was that I couldn't ask BB to confirm my theory. (a) they would have denied it whatever the case and (b) it would have made me look really arrogant".

So now we know!

Thanks Tamara, bob.stone and Mesostim

But what was all that stuff about risk strategies, didn't understand any of that!

The rest of it was fab though.

Thanks to everybody concerned with this. In common with some others part of it went over my head, but I still enjoyed it.

Here's a quick gaming glossary then:

Warhammer - fantasy wargame, just like those games that painstakingly recreate the battle of Waterloo, except with goblins and dwarves and enjoyment.
Risk - a famous board game of world domination.
Painting orcs - Warhammer can use painted lead miniatures as representative game pieces. And you paint them.
Stunty - Orcish term for a Dwarf - hence King Stunty, arch-enemy of King Stomper (Jon's painted nemesis and superhero character respectively).
Half-Elf Ranger - one of many possible character classes from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, the mother of all role-playing games. If Strider's a Ranger and Arwen's an Elf then Jon's AD&D character might just be their love-child...
