Yes I like to get the early provisional listings to give me a good idea of what kind of schedule layout to expect. There have been years that these prov schedules have been completely altered at the last minute. One year for example, in the prov listings BBC One schedule the film 'The Aviator' at 8.30pm on Christmas Day but in the final listings this film wasn't even scheduled

and was shown later in the year (I think at Easter).
But it's still good to see what the schedulers have planned. I think very soon, the BBC Press office will be updating their weekly programme information in advance as we head towards Christmas. We are currently up to Week 44 on the Press Office site. We should, judging from previous years, be getting the Christmas week programme information sometime in November
