As you may already know, last year I told you about the films showing over christmas on the BBC just before it's release date [This was from inside knowledge]
This year I have had confirmed inside reports from the BBC for this christmas 2009 as to what films will be showing throughout the festive period.
The BBC christmas television film guide as confirmed from an inside source:
[Please note, this is a rough guide and so may not contain a list of all the films to be shown but mostly confirms films which WILL be shown over the holiday on the BBC -

Bee Movie - expected transmission date just before christmas day
Meet the Robinsons - expected transmission date sometime after christmas day
The Golden Compass - expected transmission date christmas eve
The Santa Claus 3: The Escape Claus - expected transmission date just before christmas day
High School Musical Films - expected transmission date throughout christmas holiday
Ratatouille - expected transmission date christmas day
Shrek the Third - expected transmission date between christmas eve-christmas day
Transformers - expected transmission date boxing day
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - expected transmission date just before christmas day
National Treasure: Book of Secrets - expected transmission date between christmas day-new years day
Evan Almighty - expected transmission day just before christmas day

OR alternatively, see my post on page 5 of this thread for the early BBC rough drafted guide for the christmas television schedules including films Ratatouille, Pirates 3, Shrek 3, the goldan compass etc..

NOTE -
On Page 5 of this thread, the Boxing Day afternoon Film Premiers listed were:
'Ratatouille' and 'Shrek the third'
However, these films will instead be shown on CHRISTMAS DAY on BBC. This is an update.

Children in Need soon...always the start of the Christmas countdown for me!!!

Christmas decorations going up in Liverpool at the moment! Getting ready for the stupid amount of Christmas nights out I want to have!

VH1-Classic should be starting their endless Christmas music shows in 3-4 weeks, Slade, Shaky, Wizzard....

And the carol concert in York Minster every year as well I go to with the other half....best time of year!

I detest New Year's Day though, always find it the most depressing day of the year.

There is at least one house here in Edinburgh who have their decorations up already, Gorgie Road, up by Chesser for those who know Edinburgh.

We'll put ours up, probably about the 11th or 12th.

Haven't received my copy of next week's Radio Times yet. Anyone know if postal workers are deliberately holding them back because they know the listings mags are time-sensitive?

Last strike was on Saturday. Magazine was posted on Monday, so no reason for any delay.
