Too true and I am sure with acting being such a precarious and fickle profession if I were Claire I would make the most of any reasonable opportunities. Good luck to them both.

Quite liked most of the article, but her assertion that his marks were incorrect I thought could have been phrased better. She knows nothing about dancing as far as I know so isn't really in a position to decide that a dance was worthy of 10s.

Neither do most people on here, but it doesn't stop them having an opinion and she was a lot closer to what was happening than we'll ever be!

Most people don't have articles in the paper about it. I've no problem with her having an opinion, just felt the way it was presented in the article was as fact that he was undermarked and her being closer to the action has nothing to do with his marks.

All she said was -

Tonight, for Tom and Camilla, it's the tango, and they deliver a mesmerising performance. They're given four nines by the judges. What more does he have to do to get a ten?

Given how many 10s had already been awarded what is the problem with what she said? It is quite mild compared to most of what has been said on here.

Absolutely not!

I'd offer to produce a really, really complicated one and see if I could double my money!

I don't know about complicated - I'd have gone for the big bucks and done an insider's diary - especially after this series!

Of course she's gonna feel like that - she's kinda biased in his favour. Whether she's right or wrong I don't think it's an outrageous opinion to express - Lisa's dad's allegedly said a lot worse.

And wouldn't it have been good to read, too!

Realistically, I guess she has to be careful what she says as Tom will be inextricably linked with SCD for a long time to come.

Having said that, I don't blame any of the celebs for making hay while the sun shines.

I don't have a "problem" with it per se.

But I think it's a little stupid to print a wife's opinion about her husband's scoring. The word 'biased' seems like an understatement

But it's just tabloid fodder - and SCD is only a reality show, when all's said and done.

No doubt, like me, you'd LOVE to have the real low down on what goes on, but that's only because we're a bit obsessed.

As it is, we just have to make do with a few crumbs from the red tops, and invent our own subtext.
