Fantastic news in the papers in the last few days, for all of good old John's army of fans. The bookies have started to offer odds on John Sergeant winning SCD 2009.

A spokesman said of fans favourite John Sergeant, 'that the odds are quite long at the moment at 100/1, because there has been no official decision yet to bring back John, however these odds are predicted to swing dramatically to make John the odds on favourite to win, if his participation in the show is confirmed.'

Apparently the shows planners are well aware that John Sergeant is the peoples champion, who has not been voted off the show, but was forced off the show by the judge's continued nasty comments, and would draw in massive viewing figures for the show, if he were to return in 2009.

Because of the way John was treated, it is being said that plans are afoot to replace all the judges, and let the public's votes decide all the way through, this would pave the way for a truimphant return for John, who could go on to claim the crown that he was so cruely denied this year, by the biased nastyness of the judges.

We are all behind you John, come back and delight us all with the fantastic Kristina, and your charming Paso Doble,
we will all be waiting to support you again.

Let's have some charming messages, for good old John and Kristina, you never know it could be 'Sir' John, he is one of our National Treasures after all!

i don't think they should bring him back. there will probably be even more of a public outcry than there was this year.

Your speculation based on a subjective view.

Pure speculation, as well as you creating a link that is not there.

I presume the rest of your speculative and biased post is just your agenda speaking, it's certainly not based on fact!

His 'fans' are probably cringing at how easily they were manipulated...the more circumspect of them anyway.

It's a bit harsh to rub it in...though they certainly do deserve it.

There's no way the producers would be so stupid as to have him on SCD7.

I presume this is just some sort of early April 1st joke?

For it to be anything else would be absolutely ludicrous, and will kill the show stone dead.

Hello.

Could you let us all know where you have read this. It's usual to provide a link.

As far as I know it's not been mentioned in any papers. Indeed I can't find odds on any betting sites.

I assume that you have made this up for some reason. Please do not come on here and plant fiction to satisfy your own agenda.

Thank you.

PS If you want to leave "charming messages" for John and Kristina there are appreciation threads on here for that which are read by Kristina.

I personally will give every single person on this forum 100 quid if John Sargent even appears on Stricly 09.

Can't agree more. They have enough trouble this year. Nobody want to risk losing their job at this economic downturn.

Is this a Joke??!! I know we have had the "silly season" - but c'mon??!!

The idea of having the "dance-off" & judges final say was surely to give the "better dancer" a chance to go on - I mean seriously, can you imagine a J.Sergeant and for example Mark Foster final??!!
Now, I do understand Julian Clary & Chris Parker made their final - but at that time there was no final say from the judges - and while it might be "funny" or "entertaining" - What about the Pro dancers - I'd imagine they have their standards and their pride too!!!! - For example why should the Pros bother with technique or correct hold etc - Let Brendan put in as many "lifts" as he likes, and not just the American Smooth!! Let everyone else just skip around the floor and just not bother!!

I felt this year with all the farce that went on, ie J.Sergeant situation and the voting etc I thought this year could well be a water shed for Strictly - but this?! More than the rumoured Karen/Erin/Camilla leaving - Alot more pros might join them!!!!!

There seems to be quite a few closet John Sergeant fans around. Keep on dancing John, hopefully with the delightfull Kristina.

God I hope not. I liked him, but he made the decision to leave, he wasn't forced off. That's like the same crap of "bring back Kelly Brook for Strictly 08" that was around this time last year.

Well I can definitely assure you in NO way will John be taking part in 2009. They just have not a clue as to the character of John. John has FINISHED his stint on SCD.

What a load of tosh. they don't release the names of the celebs until about 3 weeks prior to the show starting. John will never return,

No news whatsoever in the papers in the last few days, for all of good old John's army of fans. The bookies may or may not have started to offer odds on John Sergeant winning SCD 2009.

A spokesman - i.e. AnthonyJohn - said of fans favourite John Sergeant, 'that the odds are quite long at the moment at 100/1, because there has been no decision yet on any of the contestants for SCD7, let alone to do something very strange like bring back John, however these odds are predicted to swing dramatically to make John the odds on favourite to win, if his participation in the show is confirmed, although of course they could change at a moment's notice once this story is discovered to be a load of old crap.'

Apparently the shows planners are well aware that John Sergeant is the peoples champion in AnthonyJohn's opinion, who has not been voted off the show, but left of his own free will, and would probably make the massive viewing figures for the show plummet if he were to return in 2009.

In AnthonyJohn's imagination, it is being said that plans are afoot to replace all the judges, and let the public's votes decide all the way through.

There. Fixed that for you

I am trying to find a link for you, the ' Camilla does the Quit step' story, is on page 15 of the News of the World today.

Among other things she has 'demanded a shake up of the voting system-stripping the four judges of any power'.

Camilla went on to say,

" Strictly's an entertainment show, not a proffesional competition. The public love people who can't dance as well as the other contestants, but are great entertainers."

Camilla also,

" Criticised the judges for being to cruel "

As we all know, apart from those with selective memory recall, it was the cruelty of the judges comments, that forced John off the show in the first place, and led to the SCD fiasco.

John Sergeant was quoted by the bookies at 100/1 for a return to win SCD in 2009, before Camilla quit, but I imagine that those odds will be shortening all the time, as the shows planners now try to work out how they can save the show.

They know full well that a John Sergeant return in 2009, would guarantee record viewing figures, and save the shows tarnished reputation.

Lets all hope that this does happen.

Right lets go through this again and please answer me this time.

Yes, we know about the story because....you know....it was on this site.

Secondly, HE IS NOT COMING BACK. Sorry to have to spell it out to you but anything to break your delusion.

And thirdly, Camilla did not quit because of judges cruel comments.

Fourthly, the final was the most watched show in Strictly history. So, how is this a tarnished show? Why does it need saving?

Fifthly, please list all the times that Sargeant (ex war correspondant in Israel and Vietnam) was bullied. Every single one please.

And sixthly, as a new posted you missed all the c**p that went on earlier in the series about this. Most of the protaganists left the boards but those of us who are left here do not want it brought up again and all the time.

We get you. Please not so much volume.
