I have just seen Johnny Vegas dancing on a PG tips advert,
he must have got the nod for SCD 2009, and decided to start getting some practice in.

It would be great to see two underdogs in the final next year, it is always much more rewarding watching contestants who are trying very hard to perform well, despite their obvious limitations, it is something that we can all identify with.

Instead of all this striving for boring perfection, how about a final next year with Johnny Vegas and John Sergeant fighting it out, how fantastic would that be.

SCD is after all, a light entertainment show, not a regulated dance competition.

I wouldn't like to see him on the show. I don't particularly like what I've seen of him - he comes across as vulgar, ignorant and rude.

Never found Johnny Vegas funny or entertaining and certainly not the JS replacement in the next series.

Completely agree. He also received some very bad publicity for humiliating female audience member at one of his shows, where a journalist happened to be in the audience too!

I would feel very sorry for whichever lady pro dancer has the dubious honour of partnering him. Can they refuse does anyone know? I certainly would. I find him very rude and offensive.

John Sargeant was a rotten dancer but at least he was a gentleman, which is more then can be said for Vegus.
