Tiscali Bundle . . .

Looking at the above webpage at the bottom, it states that

Sign up to Premium Pack TV, Broadband & Anytime Calls £24.99 for 1st 3 months then £29.99 a month

Does anyone have this, can they confirm whether this includes line rental, and is Tiscali a reasonable company to be a part of?

Thanks

I would think it has Line Rental as it is simply the normal second option shown on this page:-

With the addition of the premium pack and discounted price for three months

Yes it does include all three.

Make it Extremely Clear that is what u want, as i had hassle even tho i made it clearer than crystal what i wanted when i signed up.

And after being sent all over the world, quite literally call centre wise 2 months later it finally got sorted.

Also whatever date they give you expect to add 2-3 weeks to get an actual engineer out.... This is even if you phone them the week before the delivery to check the delivery date.

So yeh, Their cust service is a nightmare.. as the latest watchdog has shown.... however as long as u get the right package and they install it.. it works and works great..

Id feel bad if i didnt mention that there are things going on with Tiscali with buyouts not happeneing and their shares frozen, im hoping they go into administration and get taken over by sky / carphone warehouse as i think thats what those companies are waiting for.

BUT all in all as mentioned earlier, once the package is in, It does work and it works fine, ive had 5 blips in the broadband line since having it for 8 months and i literally mean blips where the broadband reconnects within 5 minutes.

Without a shadow of doubt Tiscali TV is a fine service, it's just all the other bollocks that goes off like customer service which can make the experience less than pleasant.

I would hate to lose my Tiscali TV/bundle as it stands, as it has been way better than my previous sky service.
I think Tiscali have shot themselves in the foot with the installation fee, but then other companies do the same.

The sneaky figure fudging I call it, insults the intelligence of their future customers. Divide the installation fee by 12 and add it on to the monthly figure, and any other costs, does not matter how they present it, it's all about how much you pay each month.

Oh and remember F all is free in this world.

hi
i have bt line and im with tiscali-broadband for 2 years now and i dont mind it, really /bt or tiscali was the only one option for us where we live/

we moving to London next 3 weeks and i want to cancel bt line and would like to have all in one...I found prices in Tiscali are good and so far- didnt have any problems with tiscali...thought i could upgrade to all in one...so tv+phone+broadband and line

anybody here could tell me how many channels-which channels you really receive? for example on thir site it is said over 70 channels /in variety/ plus 21in entertainment...do I have to pay seperatly for Tv on demand? or it is already with?

The variety mix has all the basic freeview stuff (BBC, ITV, C4, Five, radio, etc etc, plus a few nice bonuses like FX, sky 1,2,3, Arts). What comes down the phone line misses a few freeview ones such as the +1 channels, but you can also use the box to pick up freeview itself if you have reception.

Entertainment Xtra Mix gives you extra premium channels live Hallmark, Discovery, Gold, etc.

Basic 'catch up' on demand stuff from BBC and C4 comes free with variety pack, but you get more stuff such as on demand series from dedicated C1 channel and are more of the things on 4OD with the Xtra Mix. Only a few things are pay-per-view such as some premium US series and of course any movies you rent from the movie channels.
