Must be how it landed dropped mine and its still going the Navigo is now £39.99 online at whs if you can wait 4 weeks easy to put tom tom on , plus music, photos and video.
It's a great little machine, I had the original Turbodog Software, Igo8, MioMap, TomTom 7 and Route 66 all running on it from one SD Card.

That said I always found TomTom to be the easiest to use so when my Navigo broke I went for the TomTom 530, mainly because of the Bluetooth and FM Transmitter. Really happy with it.

well tomtom's dreaded customer services did their worst and basically ignored my last email. i tried argos and they said they would help ( yes i should have gone to them initially and i realise that now), they were out of stock so eventually they offered me my money back( I wasnt expecting that) I have now bought a garmin and it is fantastic, never again will i buy tomtom. the garmin is so reliable and user friendly. the maps are more up to date as well, an island on the A38 which was taken away about 18 months ago is still on tomtom maps but not on garmin. Also the camera data base has mobile camera sites alerts which tomtom doesnt.

I have Tomtom and my OH has Garmin (Nuvi 310 I think). We both prefer the Tomtom.

The Nuvi seems absolutely obsessed with taking you down single-track, sometimes unpassable roads often just to cut a corner. I'm told this is something to do with an inability to distinguish between A and B roads. It has taken us through someone's farm once! We've even told it we're a lorry so that it avoids narrow roads and it doesn't make a blind bit of difference! Doesn't seem to pay any attention to the settings you put in, such as 'avoid unmarked roads'! - we've actually been out before with it set to avoid unmarked roads and it took us down a road that displayed as 'unmarked road' where the street name would usually be!!

Don't get me wrong, it DOES get you to your destination but will do so by taking you round the houses whether you put in shortest or quickest route when in fact you could have got there faster staying on the main road! We ignore it most of the time and stay on the main road until it eventually re-routes us.

Use an A to Z and plan your journey in advance. Work's every time.

what a joy not to have to reset every ten minutes. the garmin has not let me down once, even in the bad weather, and also holds signal in Matlock, where the dreaded tomtom always played up which i thought was due to the hills etc
both tomtom and garmin go round the mulberry bush sometimes to get you there, it's not just garmin
