Broken Strings by James Morrison and Nelly Furtado
I absoloutely adore this song
.It seems to have fallen slightly to #5 in this weeks chart. I am surprised it hasn't reached #1! |

It's brilliant.
Such a good song, and Nelly's voice is lovely in the song. |

I really love it too, can listen to it over and over. There voices go so well together. First song by James Morrison that I've really liked.

James Morrison is one of those artists you initially think is going to be dull, but when you actually hear his songs, you can't help liking them...
![]() I think he suffered from the James Blunt comparisons when he first emerged, Morrison is way better. This song is great and should be number one. But it's never about music this time of year, it's about who's got the best hype machine so it will be Lady Bore Bore. |

I think of all the female artists who have emerged during the 2000s, I reckon Nelly Furtado is going to be the 'Madonna', the one we're still talking about in a decade or more.

When I first heard it, I didn't rate it, but having heard it a few more times, I really like it now. I liked when he sung it with Girl's Aloud...

Been a far of James since his first album and completely agree with the plaudits this song is getting.
Going to see him perform in March. It'll be interesting to see who he drafts in for the Nelly Furtado role - a local arist or just a backing singer?? |
