Maybelline mousse foundation??
PosterGirl

I have been thinking for a while i would like to try this foundation. Can anyone recommend it?

I have paleish skin(but not as pale as say Nicola Roberts from GA) but suffer from blemishes and occasional spots around my chin area, so would this be a good foundation for me?

I'm liking the idea of it because i hate thick and cakey foundation and don't wear it everyday any way so just want some light coverage and colour but also something that will cover my chin quite well(i do use concealer as well)

thanks

Maybelline mousse is great especially I have darker skin tones and it has great coverage.

I don't use the foundation but I use their mousse blush and it is amazingly light so I'd guess the foundation would be nice too. For foundation I'd also recommend MAC - my skin's light too and they do one which is perfect for me and not at all heavy.

I use the mousse and would say that it helps to cover some of my blemishes but I still find I need to put some concealer on top to make sure they are completely covered, but I would recommend giving it a try as its been one of the better foundations I've tried.

Dream Matte Mousse is a god send, I swear by it.

Great coverage and looks like you have bare flawless skin

I was told that type of foundation is really bad for the skin (I asked one of the counter gals at boots) - apparently it can bring on a break-out of spots (in time)

I recomend Laura Mercier, MaxFactor liquid illusions or Estee Lauder - they are pricier but better than that crap what you will be putting on your face.

I tried it and it dried my skin out and didn't look like an even coverage at all. I have pale skin also. Could just be me though

It dried my skin out too, but my friend swears by it so I suppose it depends on your skin type.

Soooo agree wit u, it's soft to the skin and has amazing coverage, blends into my skin like a dream! I honestly couldn't live without it, I recommend to anyone who wants a great foundation without paying too much either

I think it is better for younger skin, I rarely wear makeup, but when I do I bring out the bad boys. Touche Eclat all the way and Estee Lauder for coverage.

thanks guys

looks like i may give it a go as there are a lot of positives and each skin is different so it may or may not work for me but will never know unless i try.

I foolishly tried this as a skin allergy sufferer (shouldn't have deviated from my usual) and it made me really spotty!

If you want good coverage, pay extra for a decent foundation. Chanel's lumiere is great for pale skin and has good coverage without looking like it's cakey.

Philosophy's 'present' primer is fantastic for coverage too.

It does feel like you're not wearing anything and is really smooth but it doesn't last very long.
