Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour DVD Question

Is it worth buying?

I wasnt going to buy it, but was in Zavvi earlier on and they had it for £5.99 reduced from £14.99 (bargain...).

HMV and Asda still have it for £14.99 and £13.71 (I think) respectively, while Amazon and Play have it for £10.28 and £9.99 respectively.

For those of you have bought it, what do you think of it? If its not good, paying £5.99 for it will still be a waste of money (imo..), but if it is as good as the series (which ive been a huge fan of since series 3) I dont want to miss out on such a good price!

Help!

Have to say I think its worth the cash ! It's well put together and the extras are good with a behind the scenes piece. Go for it !!!

It's quite good and the show its self is over 2 hours long so it's worth the money.
The Bonus features are great too

Features every single dance there was, including all the judges comments..
good music etc..
and theres nothing cut out of it, unlike some other tour DVDs..
its just like it is filmed in the studio, so you see close ups and it isnt filmed from a far distance, so it is easy to see everything clearly..
+ Theres a behind the scenes, with things like the canteen etc.. but dont want to spoil it for you..

I love it,
It reminded me of the tour all over again
DEFINATELY worth the buy!!
(especially if you havnt seen it in the flesh)

Sorry to hijack your thread, but i have a question also!

Did James Martin do the trouser joke at every show, or just the DVD show?

Can't vouch for anywhere else, but he certainly did it at Nottingham.

Well i had Martin instead but i wanted James ..
lol
i think most of them used the same kind of jokes etc. every time they danced..
As its mainly different people every time they do a show etc..
No harm in that

These shows are usually scripted, otherwise it could be anarchy!

Sorry to bump the thread, but went and bought the dvd from zavvi today... Cant wait to watch it.

And also to edit my OP, the dvd was originally £16.99 and came down to £4.99 (not £5.99) and there's another 10% off. And combined with the VAT cut the final price was £4.49.... Am really very happy, and glad I didnt buy it before.

So if anyone wants to buy it, nows your chance...
