Alternative to phone voting?
GH Online
06-01-2009
Is it possible to vote online for Dancing On Ice as opposed to phoning?

There is someone I'd like to support this year but I don't want to use the phones on principle, not least because ITV plc would be taking my cash.

I highly doubt anything that relies on paid phone voting would offer free votes online, especially as online polls are much easier to rig.

No there is no other way to officially vote.

I'm sure you could vote by text in the first series but they seem to have stopped that now which is a bit annoying, I don't 100% trust the phone votes anymore either

Texting is even worse - more expensive plus ITV marketing texts which you'd be charged for. (Shows like Loose Women and This Morning ought to announce how to decline these texts rather than leave it in the small print).

its a case of if you want to vote on an itv show, itv want your money, simple as really, theres no other way. You can vote in opinion polls of course but not offically im afraid. They're a corporation they produce these programs for profit.
