tocco headphones

newbie to DS, so apologies if this has already been posted previously.

can't seem to get headphones to work with my tocco.

when i plug the 'jack-adaptor' in, the FM radio works fine in speaker mode but when i plug the headphone jack into the socket and change it to headphone-mode - nothing.

Spoke to samsung & they sent me a new adaptor & headphones but having the same problem with them.

just wondering if i'm doing something wrong, or need to 'activate' the phones in any way ?
