I totally agree with this thread. So we thought we'd do something about it.

From series one the pros have been treated very shabbily which is crazy as there's no programme without them.

I agree with some of your points here
I tend to vote for the partnership rather than either the celeb or the pro, because they are both part of 'the package'. As the pros on SCD have become familiar faces in their own right, (as I think they have every right to be - they work bl***y hard) I get a real sense of anticipation thinking 'who are they going to be paired up with this year, will they be well matched?', and part of the interest for me in SCD is watching the partnerships between pro/celeb develop, which is why I love watching ITT during the week.
This makes SCD more interesting viewing for me than DOI.
Every year in the final when the winners are being announced, Phillip Schofield always announces the celebrities name only. This always annoys me as they didn't win by themselves.
Id love it if the showcased the pros more and gave Jane and Chris a break.
They are both great artistes but watching them every week doing similar moves is overkill.
I'd like to see some variations using the differing styles and techniques the pros have - didn't Dan so something on the tour with lengths of fabric hung from the ceiling?

I remember Kyran Bracken saying on This Morning that it was wrong - he didn't win, it was him and Mel.

Silks is the correct name I think. He did a lovely routine to Angels. One of the highlights of the first tour, along with Mel and Fred's Moulin Rouge routine.
Jayne and Chris said in an interview how the pros get to do exhibition numbers on the tour which is good, I think they try to get them to have their moment on tour which nice, that's when most of the pros fans really want their money's worth.

That is annoying. I also wish that the pros got to choreograph and train the celebrities themselves.
Suzanne commented in several things that that was wrong. Lots of the Celebs like Suzanne and Kyran go out of their way to try and give their pro partners the recognition they deserve, which is good. Suzanne envolved and mentioned matt in almost everything, alot of the promo they did was togther and everything was "vote suzanne and matt" which is the way it should be. She said her winning was very much down to matt and she would never have done it without him for a partner, matt of course kept saying on tour it was her not him. But if the celebs want recognition for the pros and the fans what it, I dont see why itv dont give it more. I mean I know philip asks pros things but that it only certain ones like matt, kristina and dan get a bit of air time normally, but not much.
