I've started branching out in terms of my usual shoe shopping routine and would love to find out where everyone shoe shops for inspiration!

At the moment I am loving Russell and Bromley, Kurt Geiger and Reiss. I have large feet (8) and quite wide feet

I like KG too, my favourite brands/shops are Dune, Faith, Office do a few nice styles as do Aldo. For expensive shoes I like Net-A-Porter and Browns. Barratts are good for cheap and cheerful heels

I have size 7 1/2 skinny feet, and I tend to get shoes from Nine West, Kenneth Cole, Hobbs, Boden and a local boutique's own make called Valentinas. The latter, however, is sheer indulgence, as they start at about £100. I also rather like Hush Puppies for comfort .

Thanks for the ideas - and thanks for the link StudMuffin. I thought ASOS was only for cheap imitations of designs, I didn't realise they sold other brands too. I am having a good browse now

ASOS have great customer service too. I got a pair of shoes there the other day reduced from £150 to just £30 - Karen Millans - really nice wedges and probably the best buy I've made in the sales. I have to admit I do like going out shoe shopping instead of getting them online though.

I usually buy all my shoes from Faith but I find the flats, pumps etc don't last long especially for work. I work in sales and spend every day walking outdoors and my shoes are only lasting 3-4 weeks max so I decided to try a pair of Clarks flat pumps for the first time in hope that they are longer lasting. All my other shoes are dorothy perkins, Primark etc..not really into designers!

R & B, Kurt Geiger, Pied A Terre, LK Bennett & Robert Clergerie.

I never buy cheap shoes - they're so uncomfortable & they don't last.
