Hi, Can you please tell me how to export files from foxsat hdr to my pc so I can burn them to a dvd disk. I've recorded some kiddy programs for my grandson, I want to burn them onto a dvd disk so my daughter can play them for him when she's at home.

Assuming these are SD recordings. First thing you need to do is transfer the .ts file to a usb mass storage device. (usb pen or hard disc). These are normally formatted fat32 so you can only go up to 4Gb, not likely to be a problem in your case.

You can then transfer the usb device to a PC. What is now needed is to turn the .ts file into a standard mpeg2 file (the free vlc player will do this) . You now need some sort of DVD authoring package to convert to a dvd format and burn the data the data to a blank disc.

You may already have a suitable programme to do this (nero 7 for example) or a number of programmes that come free with some computers. If not there is quite a few free ones on the net that will do the job, these usually require a bit of knowledge and have a fairly steep learning curve. If you want something really easy to use (it's not cheap though), look at Video Redo TV suite which does everything starting with the original ts file (including the ability to edit out adverts.- You can download and try it out for free)

It needs to be a full version that includes nero recode. The burning programme can burn dvds from a folder but you need recode to create the folder
