What do I need to record to DVD?
I know this is like drawing teeth but I'm trying to work out what I need vs what I want
![]() I'd like a dvd to copy stuff onto so I can watch it on the other tv sometimes Is it just a matter of buying a PVR Freesat and then play it back through scart to a dvd? Or is there a digital method without going through the analogue phase? I guess I need a dual tuner box or a separate freesat DVD recorder if one exists help |

At the moment no DVD recorder with Freesat tuner is on the market.
This would be the only way of getting a fully digital route to DVD. Your best option is a DVD recorder with RGB input for the best possible picture quality, although this usually means connecting to the TV scart out put of the receiver as those with a dedicated VCR output usually only out put the inferior composite signal from this socket, sometimes with S Video as well which is slightly better. The DVD recorder I use has RGB in and out so the satellite box RGB simply loops through the DVD in standby on its way to the TV. |
