Girls in Liverpool please help!
Wondering if anyone can recommend a really good hairdresser in Liverpool, I moved down from Glasgow and had been with my hairdresser for years and am reluctant to change, however I'm finding it impossible to keep going up every couple of months (highlights and cut) and my hair is suffering badly, I'm scared to go to someone new but I think I'll have to...cost not an issue (within reason
) can anyone help??

To be honest theres loads of good hairdressers in Liverpool, we like to take of our hair!
The big names in the city centre are Tony & Guy in Whitechapel (opposite the Met Quarter) are good as is Barbara Daley (Lime Street & Allerton Road) Voodoo in Bold Street are good for colours. Then theres Herberts http://www.herbertofliverpool.co.uk/ Your best bet is to ask friends where they get their hair cut. Lots of local salons are good as good without the big price tag that comes from a city centre salon. |

I like Minsky's on Bold Street. I've been to Voodoo once just wanting a trim and a few layers putting in and came out having spent £147 after being persuaded to have a load of blonde put in!
As the above poster said, I'd opt for a local hairdressers that costs a third of the price and are just as good. What area do you live in? If you live in the Allerton Road/Aigburth area I'd recommend The Lounge on Rose Lane. |

Thanks for your replies FSL and Tumnus, very helpful. I live in Docklands so fairly central for everywhere. I'll give one of your recommendations a try
