Sorry if this is really simple, but I've always been on Pay As You Go and so has my family, so I have no idea how it works!
I'm thinking about getting a contract deal from Vodafone's website which includes a free phone and is £15/month.
I skimmed over something that said you have to pay by Direct Debit unless you want an extra charge each month. Is this right? And how is this set up?
I'm guessing that the DD amount will be the £15 and any extra charges per month, correct? If there's not enough in the account for some reason (i.e. I forget
) what would happen then? Would I get cut off, or would it be rolled over to the next month or something?
Also, can you have the contract in someone else's name? My dad might want to do it through his account (he'll be paying for some of it until I finish uni), but it'll be me using the phone - would that be OK?
Sorry for all the questions - thanks in advance for any answers.
And if there's anything else I should know, please let me know!
