Taylor and her dance partner Pavel Aubrecht's first performance is scheduled for next weekend's live show. Tonight's launch episode will see the male celebrities competing on the ice for the first time.

The seven men will skate tonight, with one of them leaving, and the six women will skate next week, with one leaving.

Then from Week 3, all of the remaining stars will compete together.

The only problem is that unlike the SCD twist there will be no appearance of the Female celebs until next week

Will they still be introduced as normal?

Not long to go to find out!

I hope they are introduced, rather than just seated on the side ready.

They should just have an all male this week

Then all 12 next week

Seeing as there is 1 more male competitor than female due to Michael's return.

I would imagine that seeing as it is the first week, all the skaters will be introduced....but I expected to see the Pro's at the "reveal" and that didn't happen, so who knows!

O I'm a bit disappointed now.

I don't like the 'only 1 sex this show' I think they should all be in from the start.

Strictly had 4 weeks 2 males 2 female weeks last year.

Yes they all get introduced on the stage where Philip interviews the skaters after they have done their routines. They then sit with the others after they have done their skating and encourage them

So all the 'build up' in the papers has been a farce then? cos they have printed many about the females on how slim they are, how there outfits are tiny, how there new bodies affect the sex life, Emmerdale v Eastenders etc etc

The males not mentioned that much this week.

I would prefer to see them all skate on the same night, I didn't like the "Boys one week and the Girls the week after" they way they did on SCD!

Even the bookies have it wrong then!
