There is no need to have rude comments from that judge Jason. This is national TV and he's a disgrace.

I think the producers should have a little word with him or sack him...

He said what everyone was thinking

Keep Jason, sack Ruthie

But there's no need to get that personal!!

How about giving them some credit for getting out there and trying! Of course they look ropey ... they have never skated before!

I applaud them for all staying upright ... whether it looks like they have had an accident in their pants or not!

No!! I was thinking it's the first week and give him a chance. Maybe he needs to choose his words carefully.

But it will inevitably backfire on him, as it's viewer votes that count and Todd will endear himself to the audience with his "it's only a bit of fun" take on it.

Jason Gardiner. Moron.

So Jason hasn't learned that yet

He is the 'Pantomime Villain'....every show like this needs one.

I'm amazed that he thought it was ok to use language like 'crapped yourself' in a show that grannies and children watch - he should be got rid of, really!

I think Michael Grade should remove him.

I agree with that!

And at least this is economical - Just copy a post from an earlier thread on the same subject:yawn:

This earlier today on another anti jason thread:-

But your reaction is exactly what the BBC/ITV wants so he is doing his job properly. These shows need someone who stirs things up and causes sensations in the papers. It boosts their ratings and it would be very bland and boring if there weren't characters like Jason and Craig.

Considering Chris Longworth was allowed to say to Arnie "you've been treating Dill like crap" in a 1998 edition of Grange Hill that is something of an over-reaction.

When his comments come down to that level he is NOT doing his job properly because he's being offensive rather than constructive. Ruthie doesn't get half the stick for her low scoring because she is at least trying to get the best performances.

Do NOT get rid of Jason. He is awesome. Just like Simon Cowell on X Factor - he says what the other judges are afraid of saying and tells it how it is.

Jason i thought gave some good constructive criticism which the skaters can take away and use to their benefit. I thought the crapped comment was inappropriate though. I think sometimes he tries too hard to be the pantomime villian, the crowd booing everytime he opens his mouth is also really boring, you need constructive criticism to improve.

His comments were spot on.

I didn't think anything of that. My gran is hardly going to be shocked and if children know the word then they know it already. If they don't know the word and ask what it is, it is up to their parents to deal with it.

Anyway, Todd Carty said something in response that left the panel open mouthed. I didn't hear what it was.

All publicity is good publicity.

You're talking about him, aren't you?

Lighten up, it's all pantomime.

But in the real grown up world, ITV isn't worried about him being constructive, if being destructive (and I dont think he is) gets publicity and ups the viewing figures then they will be happy.

Something to the effect of "you can come and wipe it off then mate..."

You're right Ignazi, he definitely said crap.

Anyway, on This Morning he did say he got into trouble for it and ITV had told him off, he also apologised.

The annoying thing about Jason is that most of the time he is right. If he could only give it in a more constructive manner rather then make himself the villian it would be far better for the show and the contestants.
