michael and mel definetely have the best partnership but on the ice ray and maria were amazing. How alike is roller-blading to ice-dancing I wouldn't have thought it would make you that much better

It probably helps with balance but thats about all I would have thought.

Stick ice into the mix and its a whole other ball game.

Michael and Melanie I thought Michael was very brave getting back on the ice. Just hope he's safe tonight.

Ray and Maria followed by Ellery and Frankie and Donal and Florentine.

I thought they were all very good to reasonable with the exception of Todd and Susie.

Exactly. His dancing will give him that ability too but, again, put ice on the floor and it's a different game altogether.

Anyway, Ray is not the first dancer in the history of the competition and David Seaman and Chris Fountain played ice hockey.

Why the fuss over Ray?

Ray and Maria were excellent...

However I voted for Donal and Florentine... I really enjoyed their routine and the skate off was very clean and I just really enjoyed it

I'm not saying he was the best dancer, although IMO he should have come alot higher than he did, but i just really enjoyed Donal's performance and think he came across as a great bloke (having never heard of him before). Plus he performed so much better in the skate off, deservedly went through to the next round....so yeah, Donal and Florentine!
