Loved the connection between Michael and Mel and (although I seem to be the only one who noticed) Jeremy and Darya as well.

Ellery and Frankie (though I dont' usually care for Frankie much)
Ray and Maria - he had the ice skills of Chris but coupled with the dance and partnering abilities that Chris lacked.



Roller blading gives you the basic skills in much the same way as ice hockey does. My son roller bladed before he took to the ice and it was obvious how much of a help it was to him. For someone who is/was a pretty good roller blader like Ray (must be since he does ramps and jumps and turns etc) then many of the skills are transferable but he obviously has the talent for it anyway.

Ellery and Frankie were my favourite couple (TBH any pairing with Frankie in would probably be my favourite )

But Ray and Maria's was easily the best performance, simply breathtaking...one of the best ever routines on DOI and it's only week one

I cant say im a Ray Quinn fan, but to be fair he was the only one who impressed me much.

I went for Ray but I am surprised that Jeremy isn't doing better in the poll. I thought he did really well.

Ray & Maria were the best but my favourites were Donal & Florentine, followed by Ellery & Frankie and Michael & Mel.

I admire Todd for trying, I think he's a really lovely guy and he & Susie were certainly entertaining but they should have been in the skate-off.

Just hope the choreographers don't make the same mistake with them as they did with Frankie & Chris and give them more routines dancing TOGETHER

I voted for Ray and Maria. That performance was totally outstanding! I have justed rewatched it, and it got better second time round.

I voted Ray and Maria, but I also like Michael and Melanie, I thought their relationship on and off the ice was great last year before his injury, I hope we get to see more of that this year.
