I totally agree with you Ignazio that's the poor man's problem, British people are not supposed to be good at anything or happy about it, well at least according to people on DS.

She didn't like anyone that she wasn't mentoring. She didn't like Rhydian either.

Is that the woman who made made a career out of being the wife of somebody famous in a reality TV show about his life and then got a lucky break on the X Factor? Now that Simon Cowell has replaced her with a footballer's wife, maybe we'll be seeing her in panto soon?

Yessum. That's the general consensus chez Bear!

Have to be fair and admit that he IS very good, perhaps even better than Chris was this time last year, but he may peak too early and I think Ellery will give him a run for his money.

Still think he's smug though. AARRRGGHHH

Hello Sid. I didn't mind Ray too much. I was dazzled by his skating. Jeremy irritated me too. But I couldn't tell you why.

My husband said last night "he should of been born a girl" when Ray was introduced last night. He is very feminine isnt he, but he looks like he has been working out as his upper body looked very muscular under the lycra.

I think he is OK myself. I dont mind confident people.

I don't believe it! That's exactly how I felt about him on Xfactor.

I just heard the show being discussed on Radio 5 live. Apparently Ray has an unfair advantage but cause he is quite skilled at rollerskating and dancing. Why can't they put people on at the same level. Its just so unfair.

I think I could pin it down to the 'not wanting to dance looking at a minger' line. The dead eyed desperation didn't help, either.

That comment did nothing to endear me to him.

I wouldn't fancy staring at HIM for too long, truth be told! Not as good looking as he seems to think he is. Donal knocks him dead!

He will probably win he is very good. His second place in the XFactor didn't mirror his talent, he really was pretty average.
An awful lot of people must have voted on XFactor for his likeabilty. Worse he didn't even have a sob story!

To get second that year he must have had a likeability factor - perhaps amongst older folk? I don't know what it was - how he beat Ben Mills was beyond me.

Have to admit he was a good child actor if anyone remembers his role in Brookie. Then he emerged on X factor as a cocky git and it all went downhill from there for me.

There's something a little creepy about him but as he has enough self belief to power the national grid I guess he'll do okay. Not to my taste though.

Not even being Nasty to the guy but he has his record contract scrapped.
lets be honest theres only two reasons you go on a show like this.

1.raise youre profile
2.Relaunch yourself.
His profile is pretty raised so it must be the 2nd..and his entire way of talking and presenting himself is just horrendous hes like the son of alan partridge.

Jeremy irritates me because he absolutely loves himself.

I love threads like this: we have a larger number of DS posters saying they dislike him because they think he is smug, how he was on another programme, or even because of what he looks like, and they don't want him to win...............never mind whether he is the best performer or not.

LOL - anyone for a hot bowl of steaming superficiality, or perhaps you are full already.

Yes at the age of 10 - that would be 10 years ago.

I've just discovered that Kristi Yamaguchi, an Olympic gold medallist for figure skating took part in DWTS and was twice world champion. Ray's a complete novice by comparison.

Does anyone not have anything better to do than sit around complaining about someone they dont even know? How can assumptions be made about a person when you dont know anything about them?
