I thought she looked very well tonight, her face and upper body looked slimmer and IMO her face had less wrinkles and looked smoother

It looks like she has had her hair restyled and a warmer colour put on and I think it suits her

well first and foremost its the haircut... its knocked YEARS off her... after that, would not surprise me if she has lost a bit of weight. The combination of just both those elements would easily result in how she looks now... which is fantastic.

I know, I picked up on this from the Christmas special, I think its just weight loss and a new haircut. I remember on the Xmas special thinking it was a new judge. She looks about 10 years younger!

It's just a make-over. She hasn't lost any weight (her face shape is the same). She has a less ageing hairstyle than the voluminous up-dos she wore over the past few series and she has also changed her make-up colours.

Whatever it was it certainly worked, and she managed not to cry (but plenty of time for that!). I think she's really sweet and it's a shame we don't get to see her skate

And why do they introduce her as an Ice Dance coach and her ex-partner Nicky as a British Ice Champion. He couldn't have done it without her and in fact he didn't do it without her, he did it with her.!!!

I don't know her age, but it must be about the same as Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and her ex-partner Nicky as they all skated at the same time in the same competitions, including the Olympics and I have to say she looks a lot better than Jayne.

Karen and Nicky are slightly younger than Jayne and Chris.

She was always a pretty woman, but in past series she looked dated. Tonight I thought she looked fantastic - mainly due to the new hairstyle and more up to date dress.

She looks gorgeous whatever shes done has certainly worked.

I agree Karen looked fabulous tonight. Whether she has had any facial "work" done, I wouldn't know, but if she has then it is very subtle. Maybe it is just a great new hairstyle and maybe a change of make up, but she looks years younger and more up to date. Very very nice.


By contrast, I thought Jayne has aged since last year. She has lost a lot of weight, which (for over 50s) can sometimes be ageing around the face and neck. Maybe a shorter softer hairstyle might suit her better? She's still lovely, and has a fab pair of legs someone of any age might envy!

I think all three of them look great, but I agree Karen does look different... I reckon it's the new hairstyle and maybe different make-up.

Karen's hair is a massive improvement, certainly. Now if she could just pass on the name of her stylist to Jayne (she might have toned up but that no-fringe look was very unflattering) and Holly (whose up-dos add years to her), we'd have a much more visually appealing off-ice show

i didn't realise she was like 48 until yesterday ! she looks amazing for here age IMO ! i'd have guessed she's 40 at most.
