Yet again...personality over Talent.
Tbh I wont be watching the skate offs anymore its just a total joke.
Todd should have gone tonight simple as he was nothing short of Dangerous.
dont be a bit suprised he 'breaks' an ankle etc..they dont want another JS affair.

I don't normally post on DOI forums but I was totally gutted watching tonight. I liked both Graeme and Donal.

All the people that were perhaps better skaters I'm not very fond of personality wise And while I can tell Todd is a very nice man, he certainly isn't as likeable or funny as either Donal or Graeme.

Gutted. Is it four months of prior training they do? An awful lot for one night.

Aww, like i said in the episode discussion thread, when they were talking to phil and T&D at the end, she looked so upset. I really do feel sorry for her, she is a fantastic skater and hardly ever gets anywhere

And i liked Graeme as well, i love his cheeky smile

I liked both Donal and Graeme too - I was surprised Todd wasn't there. So... he's very popular then.

This is exactly why I don't watch the skate off's anymore. I watch the main show and then find out later who went. I'm less annoyed that way. XD

Me too I like Kristina and I didn't think Graeme deserved to be in the bottom 2 either, but there you go. Every celeb programme is like that.

I just posted in another thread that that is just how I feel. At least with JS some people found him entertaining so I understood that but that wasn't entertainment.

lol...I wanted Graham to last longer. Most appealing bloke I fink. I wouldn't mind Kristina if she didn't have a very high little girl voice.

Todd seems a nice person - but it seems, in competition with Colleen perhaps, he is destined to be this years Aggie.

Was sorry to see Graeme go so early; he was very gracious in defeat.

It's a bit rubbish I liked both Graeme and Donal and I think it was pretty rotten that they were both in the Skate off but unfortunatley I didn't vote so I can't really moan
Todd Carty is quite a popular & nice guy me thinks and he'll have people who'll vote for him regardless of his performance simply because he's trying. I hope he manages to improve over the next 2 weeks, it would be nice to see him come out and be less nervy & scary on the ice now he's been chosen to stay.

Exposure in Grange Hill, Eastenders and The Bill no doubt helped.

Todd was crap, this is why the public should not be able to vote in these kinda shows. Sympathy seems to win out as with the issue over the Come Dancing shows before Xmas.

Kristina had a terrible skater last year in greg but went very far, gutted her and graham are gone but it swings in roundabouts i suppose.
And people are talking about John Sergeant and the sympathy vote like its new, its been around for ages. We had a tonne of it last year with Aggie and Greg.

I feel so much for Kristina. She is one of my favourite pro-skaters but she always gets paired with the lesser able celebrities and goes out early. Saying that Graeme did not deserve to go, it should have been Todd. I'm not surprised that she is upset!

Being cynical - they get paid the same whether they go out the first week or get through to the final, so that must be a little consolation.

Even so, I was sorry to see Graeme go so early; I'm not a sports fan, so didn't know him, but he seemed a thoroughly nice guy. Had he been in a few weeks he could have got his confidence back, and become pretty good.

Unfortunately, given that Todd was unlikely to be in the bottom 2 ('cos being the worst is usually the safest position with the voting public) both Graeme & Donal were in danger.

Did you watch series 1 when she was runner up with Stefan Booth? I do agree she hasn't had a decent partner since - but she's not alone.
