She had a good run last year with greg as he got the entertainment/sympathy vote and far better people went, shes was the other side of it this year though. I think if graham had gone through he would have gotten reasonably good.

Another reality show and why not start as it means to go on with personality over talent? I like todd but he was way below donal and grahame. Certainly going to miss the gorgeous kristina too.

The early rounds of all of these shows are always a populairty contest, it starts to become about the dancing and/ or skating at week 5 or 6 normally

Was it personality though? Todd is a nice guy but he wasn't as much as a laugh as Graeme and Donal. The judges were mean and I think that played a part in it, and the Brits love an underdog. I don't think it really was personality.

more popularity, It think its just a bit a sadistic voting like aggie was, and a liking of the underdog and an anti-jason vote, amongst other things.

I am sorry to see Graeme and Kristina go as well. Just felt this situation was like the X Factor all over again and the public voting out of sympathy for Todd Carty who can't skate for his life. Sorry to see Graeme go. What a really nice guy he is. I really enjoyed watching Graeme and Kristina skating to "I've got you under my skin." They didn't deserve to go out.

I agree with that. I thought that Graeme was pretty good. He's a nice guy, but Todd should have gone. He was so far behind the rest of them. It seems that sadistic people just want to keep Todd in for the 'entertainment' of seeing him possibly badly hurting himself and/or his partner.

I think it is slightly insulting to JS to compare that performance of Todd yesterday to him. Todd did not entertain me he scared me I think the poor bloke is a disaster waiting to happen. SCD was not really dangerous DOI can be and it could be Todd's partner who gets hurt.

I still can't beleave that we've lost Kristina in week 1...

I wonder if the people who voted for Tod realised that they would be sacrificing Kristina in order to stick it to the judges and keep him in a competition for which he is clearly ill iquiped.

I would call the votes he got stupidity rather than sympathy votes. He is a liability on the ice, pure and simple. People must remember that this isn't SCD. Its far more high risk than SCD could ever be.

Unlike Tod I think that Graham had potential and, with Kristinas help, and another 2 weeks on the ice I'm sure he would have managed to overcome his nerves, which were entirely understandable given what had happened to him before (a demonstration of just how risky this competition is). If anyone should have had sympathy votes it's Graham for coming back after that.

I always expected Todd to go through, and could see it was going to be Graeme and Donal in the Skate Off.

I think Graeme was unlucky to be in the SO, seeing as he was only 0.5 behind Jez Edwards and Underwood, who were tied 3rd, both gaining 5 points each. Graeme only gets 3 so wth Todd getting loads of votes, he was destined to be in the bottom two.

You can't argue with the Skate Off result, Donal was better, but the overall result was wrong IMO.
