N95 USB Not Charging
a colleague in work has this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/2-RETRACTABL.../dp/B000XH6DFQ (item says samsung but the link has an adapter on the end, colleague's came without the adapter)
it was working fine uptill friday just gone, she has had a replacement N95 Silver (not related to this) and when she sticks this into the charger socket of the phone a message pops up saying charging followed by a message about 30 - 40 seconds later saying not charging. She has had a replacement N95 (as already mentioned) and this is happening to the new handset too. Another colleague has the N95 8gig and this charger works fine with that phone. Has anyone encoutered this before or maybe knows a solution? |

I have encountered this issue with my usb charger for the N95.
I *think* its to do with the amount of power coming from the USB port. I tried it straight into my PCs USB port and , like you said, it charged for a few seconds then stopped. I then tried it in the USB port I have on my keyboard and it worked successfully. A bit of experimentation is necessary. Try another USB port, or a hub if you have one. |

I found that with my old N95, the battery had to have some charge in the first place... the USB socket was not powerful enough to give the initial boost. With two battery bars left it charged no probs. Could just be an anomoly...
