direct save telecom
hi,
i'm with the post office for phone and bb, but going to switch to these guys as i can get free calls all day which will really help me out. is anyone with them? |

AFAICS, their Option 3, which offers inclusive (not free) calls, costs £5.38/month - which is 53p more than BT's equivalent, their £4.85/month Unlimited Anytime Plan (although they allege* that costs £5.82/month). * Strangely, they also allege that BT's Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan (the equivalent of their £2.45/month Option 2) also costs £5.82/month - when that's now a free Plan and has never cost more than £2.70/month. BTW, the website bears a strong resemblance to some I've seen before - Utility Warehouse and Telecom Plus. If it's the same outfit, you have to pay a monthly membership fee too. |

I was looking at the broadband family option 3. It's £19.95 plus line rental £9.74 so for under £30 it seems a good deal considering how much the phone is used in my house. Though they do charge a connection fee for broadband
