Podcasts
Hope I've got the right forum...
Does anybody have any recommendations for Podcasts? I have just discovered them. I particulary like the paranormal ones but have only found one good one so far. All recommendations welcome

I don't know much about paranormal, although these are the ones which I subscribe to in iTunes.
The Economist (quite interesting for learning about the world economy) Wake Up To Money (essential for keeping up with the finance news each day, beats getting a broadsheet) Friday Night Comedy 8 out of 10 Cats (Jimmy Carr + Sean Lock = comedy gold. Shame about the audio quality) TWiT (usually have great guests with a good insight in to tech, not just from a geeks perspective but a business and political side as well) MacBeak Weekly (because I am a Apple geek at heart and this is probably the best) Diggnation (there is something strangely entertaining about 2 guys sitting on a couch with their laptops, drinking beer and discussing the hottest news from Digg.com) So, a couple finance, a couple comedy and a three technology podcasts. I used to subscribe to more, but never had the time to listen to them all so kept my favourites. |

I personally love
BBC Radio 1 Scott Mills Daily On average they are about 40mins and can be as short as 10mins (very depressing when they are the wee ones, barely leads ya to LIDL!), But the podcasts are HILARIOUS and awesome. Thats my recommendation.

Wake up to money
Moneybox The FT one (first time listening today!) The naked scientist! Medical matters Some other political stuff. I love listening to these on the train, so I get my daily news without buying a newspaper!

I like The Guardian's podcasts. Readers of this forum are likely to like their Media and Technology podcasts
You can either search for them in the podcast section of then iTunes Store - or use the links http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/seri...lk/podcast.xml http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology...ly/podcast.xml In iTunes - click on 'Advanced', then 'Subscribe to podcast...' There's other podcast managing software, but if it's for your ipod is easiest if you use iTunes to manage your podcasts. It will manage any podcast with an xml feed, they don't have to be listed in the iTunes Store |

Scott Mills podcast is fantastic
Friday Night Comedy is well worth listening to My secret listen is the Archers it's so addictiveThe Ricky Gervais old stuff is worth getting but the new stuff is just a repeat of 'Karls has got a head like a fkin orange' which becomes boring |
