I can upgrade for free to a Nokia N95 on T-Mobile.

The N95 is meant to have wi-fi and GPS but on the specifications given on the T-Mobile website it mentions neither (it says no GPS and doesn't mention Wi-Fi)

Does anyone know if this will be a cut down version with less features or just a mistake on their website?

Also I assume the N95 comes with some sort of software to make use of the GPS or is it only useful if you buy some additional software?

The N95 is the N95, no cheap versions. It has GPS and wi-fi built in.

The only difference is whether it's the classic or the 8gb - there being the main difference - the classic has a memory card slot, the other has 8gb included.

Ahh, i'll check that. Thanks

I assume the Wi-Fi is used for internet use when in a wi-fi 'hotspot' just like you can with a laptop?

Yes or if you have a wireless router at home or work and you have access to it.

Bit of an old phone for an upgrade IMO...

No offer of the N96 or something else more recent?

The n95 is almost 2 years old now but still beats the majority of today's phones. As long as the firmware is up to date it still kicks arse.

Yes, but for £200, the N95 is free
