the no-quibble refund/exchange just because you changed your mind or don't like it after all is extremely generous. In most other countries, all purchases are final and you can't take it back unless it's faulty.

i imagine it's a cost-saving exercise, as all returned phones have to be checked and refurbished.

this makes it even more important to research a phone, read user opinions, and play around with demonstration phones in the shop, before deciding on your purchase.
