Taking a Samsung D900i off mute

My mum has slept walked and b*ggered her phone!

I kid you not. She dreamt someone was calling her in the night and she managed to put her phone on mute. Now we can't work out how to turn it back on to loud.

It's a Samsung D900i - we think - can anyone help?
