She has her fave and Jessica isn't it. How can Jessica's routine on Sunday be a point worse than Zoe's.

The injustice of it all

I agree

As much as I love Zoe, Jessica's performance was worth more marks than Zoe's.

I dont think it matter who tops the leader board as it's shown with Todd it's the public who have the last says.
And last year chris topped in most week yet he didnt win so the same could happen this year.

I'm interested to know what peoples opinions are with Jessica's progression???

Is Zoe catching her up?

In scores, it's undeniable. But as far as their performances go? I really don't think so. I counted Zoe's routine and she spent 55 seconds of it being lifted, carried, or otherwise completely supported by Matt. Not trying to devalue lifts but I much prefer watching Jessica actually skate, and dance at the same time. I feel the same with showdances on Strictly Come Dancing - I like the ones with more 'dance' and less 'show'

This week I actually wasn't overly keen on the choreography. I personally see a lot of improvement in her though. She is making more mistakes now, but (to my untrained eye) her routine in the first week seems a hell of a lot simpler and easier than last week and this week's. You, of course, would know if that's true a lot more than I do! Am I right in thinking that Jessica and Ray have the highest level of skating content?

She does seem prone to making the odd mistake or two, but they're small stumbles rather than the huge ones that others (e.g. Melinda) had. I would rather see a performance of Jessica skating a lot and stumbling occasionally than of Zoe doing some very pretty aerial gymnastics. If Zoe had the level of skating content in it that I see in Jessica's I'm not convinced her scores would be catching Jess's. The only time Zoe had a lot of skating to do she nearly fell over.

All of this is the opinion of a complete amateur with two hours at Nottingham and Canary Wharf's ice rinks under her belt, so take it with a pinch of salt I plan to start taking weekly lessons and although obviously it won't be as intensive as Jessica's training, I come from a similar non-dance background so I find her efforts inspiring. (I don't delude myself about how quickly I can achieve her level!)

Jessica's routines are defintely more technical and with more content than Zoe's are

Zoe is another Bonnie/ Lisa type who spends more time in the air than on the ice!

That was definitely my favourite so far. They looked so pleased with their scores, I'm happy for them

Jason has said Jessica is the best girl in the show and she can catch up with Ray which you sort of knew that would happen.

It happened last year too

Looks like it's time for Jessica's supporters to start voting.

It's been clear up 'till now that she'd be safe, that even if she ended in the dance-off the judges would save her (unless in some bizarre fashion she was there vs Ray).

But it's getting trickier now ... If we don't start voting, Jessica will probably be in the dance-off every week.

It looks like Coleen is getting enough votes to be safe for at least a few weeks more. Unless Jess had a very bad week, she'd probably survive against Donal or Roxy. But the other possibility - Zoe - is harder to call. If Jess had a bad week, or Zoe an especially good one despite ending in the dance-off, that could see Jess leaving.

It's billed as "Dancing on Ice star Jessica Taylor tells us why she should win the competition", but I don't think she actually says anything about that.

It's mostly about falling. What it feels like, that it can be scary, hoping she's too tall for the headbanger , the presenters mention injuries some have received; then it's about ending up in the skate-off. She says that though she's been high in the judges' marks, she's never taken it for granted, and that you need votes as well. It's suggested that thinking she was safe might have been a factor, and she says maybe, and that that's how she thinks when voting on these kinds of shows. It ends: "Maybe that's what happened, I don't know, none of us are safe" (smiles).

(I was right. Nothing about why she should win, so I think it's a bit unfair, and deffo misleading, for the web site to bill it that way. )

So Jess is wearing a catsuit!

What is she skating to?

what are your favoutite routines of her so far?
Psychosis

I'm gonna be a nervous wreck (in DOI terms) during the results show I 'm gonna vote quite a bit tonight, I think. I know that the chances of her being eliminated if she's in the skate-off are slim to none, but I like her and don't want her to have to go through it two weeks in a row.

A cat suit? Where'd you see that?

Aaaaand finally, my favourites... either Venus, Unbreak My Heart, or the disco one just for the outfit, lmao.
