I've got a horrible feeling they may be in the bottom and possibly with Zoe, who i also like...

I dunno how you can come to that conclusion when we haven't seen them skate yet lol

Because like most shows the first few rounds are more a popularity contest than about skating, I can also see Melinda and Zoe as the bottom 2.

I agree - I think unfortunately, especially in the early weeks of the competition, the size of the celebrity's fanbase does make a big difference to the public voting. But after being in the final with Zaraah last year and having such a successful partnership with her, I think Fred has quite a following of his own now! Good luck Melinda and Fred - have fun!

Well i'm basing my assumption on who I think is current and popular.

We know Jessica is very good and will probably come top

Colleen will prob come at the bottom; but has a good personality - the John Sargeant effect will kick in and she will be saved; like Todd last week

Roxanne and Gemma are from soaps and therefore are recognisable and people are therefore likely to vote for them

Which leaves Zoe and Melinda to be in the bottom 2

I hope I'm wrong and Melinda comes in and blows everything out of the water

I thought that last week though, I thought Donal would be bottom but didn't think Graeme would, I thought Ellery might have been, because of the 'known' factor..I wouldn't call it this week, but I do agree that Coleen & Roxanne won't be going anywhere..

i really didn't expect to like melinda, but she came across as really likeable tonight i thought..

Melinda is lovely, hope she gets the votes tonight though

Well she's 3rd on the leaderboard; higher than I expected actually

I hope she is high enough to not be in the skateoff

If she is in the skateoff then she may have a good chance of staying considering how good she is

Really pleased Melinda got through - much better second dance - great!

Gald she got through too - the 2nd performance was great and she got through the wobbly part of the 1st dance and did it ok

Strange as I'm now supporting the two surviving couples from the dance offs - Donal and Melinda + also Ray as well

I'm supporting Melinda too. Great personality, good skater - I really want her to do well. Horrible thing is, she must've been bottom of the public vote (or second bottom to Jessica) to be in the dance off tonight. Hope her support builds for next week!

I think the skateoff will hopefully have given her alot more fans

I just can't believe Colleen was safe instead of Melinda! Melinda could do well with more and more skating and definitely the better skater compared!

Glad to see that Melinda and Fred won the skate off. I don't feel that Melinda should have had to have skated for survival though. Melinda was better than that.

Well done Melinda. Looks interesting. Melinda has got more marks and is heading in the right direction. She looks like she is the one who may be able to do the wow factor lifts. Zoe had a stumbly week and is too tall for many lifts, Jessica didn't get much better and the lack of wow lifts is becoming interesting suggesting she is perhaps too tall too.There's a gap there for Melinda to fill.

Thought they were so fab tonight- everything crossed they are not in the dance off this week as they don't deserve it!

They seem to have such a great parnership too.

I agree about the gap to fill too- she has improved and hopefully will continue to do so and get better and better marks.
