There has to be some factor, or combination of factors, which is triggering this behaviour for just a small number of people. If we can work out exactly what these triggers are, we might be able to find a safe way that you can use non-freesat again.”
Thank you- I was beginning to feel ignored
Obviously the first time I went to non-Freesat it had done it's scan and so I was expecting the schedule to wipe clean. Then the next time I visited I think I removed all the channels I didn't want. Then I think after that one it was wiped again. So I thought "perhaps it's because I am doing things other than just browsing" (just like you said) and tried a few times after that. Like I said, it didn't happen every time. But over the following few days I must have gone to non-Freesat about 5-6 times- just browsing to test my theory, and three of those visits ended up wiping the schedule. I was fully aware of what was said on this forum, that scanning non-Freesat is supposed to wipe the schedule, so I was disappointing in finding out it happened even when I didn't. I have a three-strikes-your-out policy, and so I haven't bothered since.
