Poor old Melinda, doesn's she have a thread of her own yet? On tonight's performance, I think she deserves one. Sadly, people seem to feel she doesn't have the fan base to survive, but Melinda you impressed me tonight, well done!

She has a lovely personality, she skated well for her first week .. Jason was far too harsh, especially knowing how scared of his comments she was.
I hope she can improve from next week onwards, provided she gets through tonight.

I thought she shouldn't have been in the bottom 2 this week but again the GBP gets it sooooooo wrong.
I thought Melinda came across very well - and skated much, much better in the dance off. What I didn't like about her was her eye make-up - it looked like her eyes were nearly shutting under the weight of it all.
i like melinda she is really good on cowboy builders! and was sweet when she was on ant n decs saturday night takeaway on decs team i think!

Agreed, though I was sad to see Gemma go so early; and I also agree about the make-up. I didn't think it was flattering and it must have been hard to wear. In Zoe Salmon's case it looked like she had radioactive bats perching on her eyelids.

That's the problem with these competitions, poor skaters/dancers etc. get through based on the fact that they are/have been soap stars or pop singers. I'm not saying she's the best skater, but she shouldn't have been in the bottom two.
Dont really know much about Melinda but liked her personality and she wasnt bad at all on the ice, i think she can improve and progress.
i thought melinda did really well last night , i think se could be abit of a dark horse of the comp.
Well if she ends up in the bottom two for the next few weeks - the judges would save her agianst a fair few of the others (she would probably win against Todd, Coleen, Donal or Roxanne....)
I think Melinda should have gone over Gemma. Melinda was far from stable on her feet and basically pushed and dragged around by Fred much like Coleen was. Best thing about Melinda's routine was the jump.

I've just watched this again and Melinda was pretty good on the ice.
I thought Gemma looked really unsteady on the ice. I thought Melinda was better than Roxanne, Gemma and Coleen
