She's Irish and I find the Irish to be very chatty, friendly and outgoing! It may also be nerves making her chat a lot!

I don't think she is that - i think she is a nice girl if not maybe a little competitive because she loves the show so much that she wants to stay in.
What personality does she have - all she does is talk about nothing.
Zoe is a typical tv blonde. Bland and relient on "niceness" and visage. No real personality or opinions.
I did feel a little bit sorry for Gemma, but she did herself no favours what so ever! I mean who says " I'll be fighting this one for the votes, it'll be a case of Soap North , Soap South" if you're not even good?

I have to agree branding herself and Jo "soap queens" made her look as if she had ideas above her station.
Zoe is dreadful though. Bland, plain, inane, annoying and not very good.
Coleen is a terrible skater and should have been out but she is funny, entertaining and witty.

You don't get a 2.1 in a hard subject ( law) from a good university before the latest stage of degree inflation for being unintelligent or inarticulate. She's not the stereotypical blonde.
Lots of people have opinions that make no sense so expressing them is hardly a virtue.

Well said!! And she's very daring with all of the stunts she's performed on Blue Peter. I like really like her!
Zoe does know how to chatter and sometimes she can put on a scary face however she seems a nice girl and can also make stuff with sticky-backed plastic.

They still do various "makes" but it is more exciting now - at least it was when Gethin was on it.
Zoe did wing-walking and rode the Wall of Death. She and Gethin, together with Andy, also climbed all four highest peaks in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
She also was Miss Northern Ireland before joining Blue Peter and is a qualified solicitor.

Who there is forthright and witty? And what is there to be forthright and controversial or witty about on a dancing show? The nearest thing is Coleen and she does a show for the homebound which consists of lots of females giving inconsequential opinions about anything. I don't think many people would want to listen to that (which is why its on daytime TV) I don't think Melinda or Roxanne or Jessica or Gemma show much signs of wanting to spout forth on any topics either.
I can't see why people who are pretty enough to enter beauty competiitions should be bland either - there's a known positive correlation between looks and intelligence so as soon as smart people saw it as a way to make money you find the smart and the dumb competing there too. Its a smarter way to make money than doing most jobs.

And it's never been important for anyone else in DOI to be controversial, so why would it matter if she isn't?

she does have a lovely personality, she comes across as a sweet, lovely genuine girl..who is also very intelligent.. ..but of course she is going to have her slaters because she is a stunning girl then obviously she is going to be bland, have no personality etc
...oh and i agree her boyfriend is very hot
