Did anyone just watch now on This Morning with Jason and Gemma?

At the end they mentioned a big star will be on one of the future shows and they all seemed excited, including Jason

Does anyone have any ideas who this could be?

Yea when i seen it i thought i would come on here for some clues lol

When i heard Jason in the background say he was very excited too it led me to think that it could be a diva! So im thinking, Whitney houston?

It is her big comeback this year so maybe??

How about Kylie (that would explain why Jason was so excited).

Just watched the interview with Gemma Bissex on "This Morning". Would just like to say if she's such a big fan of DOI then why didn't she go to any of the series 3 shows particularly if one of her co-stars was performing!! Perhaps she's such a big fan now if there is a chance she may be able to do some reporting about it.

Didn't see the interview - did she say anything else?

More or less what she said on her interview with Philip. She was really proud of what she'd achieved as she'd never been on the ice before and how disappointed she was at being voted off.

They also said that the show brought in about 10.5 million viewers, which is better than last week and pretty amazing, who knows where it'll be for the final.

I do miss the Rinkside thing they used to do where a couple of stars and Jayne, Chris and Karen would have a little chat from the ice.

You don't mean Dancing on Ice Defrosted do you?

I loved that, i wish they would bring that back, it was always a good way to get to know the professionals a bit better as they would always get to chat.

They had the weekday 'defrosted' show at the wrong time of the day. How many people can watch at 3.30 (or whatever it was) in the afternoon? It should have been at 6.30 like the Strictly show.

If they can't have a daily show, then an hour on one of the other ITV channels (with apologies to those who can't get those channels) on the Sunday night after the main show would be nice.

Didn't they used to do it after the main show on ITV2 before the results show? Thats the one i'm on about, just one show a week, on the sunday

Yes, I remember that now. They should do it again.

(But didn't they also have a day time show as well?)

Yes, either for the second or third season (possibly both) they have a 30 minute show each week day, but i wasn't as keen on that and can see why they stopped that, but i loved the sunday extra show and i think they should have brought it back. It was a great way to learn a bit more about the celebs and also the professions, they would also speak to the judges and T&D and would always do a bit of silly fun stuff and was just an easy fun watch

There was Defrosted, Exclusive, Extra...etc but This Morning also did a Rinkside thing as well for about 15 minutes once a week which was good.

Yes there was - it was an ideal link between the main show and the skate off, I'm wondering if the ratings have suffered because of the hour break
I can't understand the move to Sunday either - these types of show are typical Saturday night viewing.

Yes i don't know why it moved to sunday, but it still seems to do well though.

Anyway, they had to make room for the fantastic show demons

I think the daytime show was with Ben Shephard and was at 5.30. ~Wish they would bring it back. Can see why it couldn 't be 6.30 as there are local news on at that time and of course with SCD they had BBC2 to go to. ITV2 isn't quite as likely to show that sort of thing weekday.
