Chasing live tv on Humax HDR subtitles
Should this happen, or is it a bug, or can I turn it off.
When I record by chasing live TV ( I think that is what it is called) There are always subtitles on the recorded program. Should this happen? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

It's a known bug.

It is a bug. You can't 'turn it off' once it happens but...
It happens because subtitles were turned on, on that channel previously, then the subtitles were dismissed - say when you changed channels. When you change back to that channel you no longer have the subs but the bug will occur when you start chaseplay (or rewind the buffer) and the subtitles reappear. When you try to turn the subs off while in chaseplay, of course the box will tell you that you can't. So the only way to avoid this is to go through the action of turning off subs before rewinding the buffer or put the box in standby (as this will reset the subs, but you will lose the buffer). I think these two tricks should work... I've not tested it... |
