I am giddy as I've just booked (with great difficulty!) tickets for the DOI tour!

I missed out on SCD tickets this year - so I'm really excited to get my fix of live entertainment!

Anyone else booked?

Do you know if they have the judges on the tour?

Where do you book them from? And are there any places left?

You just have to search any ticket website and they should have some left.

Me either! But I'm still excited too! I haven't been to any of the other DOI's tours.

Did anybody go to the tour last year? How long does a show last? Hoepfully i'll be driving by April but if not need to sort out trains

You're normally finished by 10pm, I think...it's not any more than that, if I remember rightly!

When do they normally announce the celebs that will be on the tour??x

Isnt it usually the last eight or something like they do with Xfactor?

They usually have people from prior series.

In the 2008 tour I know that Clare Buckfield, David Seaman and Bonnie Langford were on it along with Suzanne, Chris, Linda, Gareth (I think also 2 from the aussie show).

they usually have about 4-5 from previous series and 4-5 people from the new one. The previous ones should start being announced officially soon enough, though we know suzanne and matt are already signed, the ones from this series will be quite late, cos its the top 4 or 5 that do it.

And no the Aussie girl was in the 2007 tour.
Last year was Bonnie, David, Kyran, Claire, Zaraah, Linda, Gareth, Chris and Suzanne.
4 from previous (2 each) with the top 5.
Also yes the judges are there its usually 4 of them, Karen, Robin, Nicky and Jason with a special with judge from each area that the tour goes to (cos Ruthie was in a show and i think it'll be the same this year.
The shows are about 2 and half hours.

Went last year and it was brilliant, its far more relaxed than the show, nobody really cares who wins each night they all just have a great time out on the ice which makes it more entertaining, going again this year.

I went the last two years and last year had rinkside tickets but I can't afford the £100 for the two tickets this year .

Sod it, I've just booked 2 seats for Block 2 Lower Tier Row H, I don't know if they're gonna be that good but at least I'm going .

I looked on Wikipedia a few weeks ago and it said Jason wasn;t doing the tour this year but had some fairly dubious looking claims about how on nights when one of the female judges wasn't available Kres would do it, and when one of the male ones couldn't be there Jason would do it - as if he would be anyone;s stand in! Ego man himself lol

Anyway I just went back to look up what it said and now it has some even more bizarre claim that Robin has left the judging panel as of 2010 and Nicky will be taking over as head judge, with Matt Evers replacing Nicky

I'm going to take that was a kilogram or two of salt I think

Yes read that awhile back, somebody having a laugh I feel, also its for 2010 so we needn't worry, thats for the people next year,
though I do think Matt would make a good judge!
