Watching American Idol on ITV2+1 right now. LOL this is entertaining!
Three things

1) Can someone please tell me when this is usually on (the first showing not the repeat like I have)
2) The two extremes of talent are even better than our own old Pop idol. The good are better and the worst, Wow they make ours look half normal lol
3) Is it a requirement to have their teeth industrially whitened before they walk in or something?! If they all smiled at once you'd be blind! I've lived in the US and it wasn't like that, so what gives?! Is their a lil team out back super teeth whitening lol Nice and white is good but that ultra ultra bright teeth nuked look in huge numbers is a bit scary

American Idol Usually First views On itv2 on Thursday night with another episode on Friday.
I love It and yes they are way more talented than the X-Factor.
I have noticed the thing with peoples pegs now on t.v. they seem to get them whitened Remember Daniel from X-Factor the older guy ( painful though the memory Is of him) he had his pegs done between boot camp and the live shows.

Once the live shows start America get them live Tues then results Wed we usually get both shows on Thurs.

Will they be doing recordings of their songs like last year? And will they be available outside the US?

Not sure about that but I always order any American Idol Stuf On Line with Amazon, or If I am lucky enough to be going that year I get everything from Wallmart

Can only speak about David Cook's Idol stuff, but the studio recordings were made available outside the US on a fan site*, so I presume it was the same for the others last year, and will be the same this year, as far as I know you couldn't buy them outside of the US Itunes site.
