Has anyone started a petition?

Sorry if this has already been done, but does anyone know of a petition I can sign to get Judge Jason skating on the ice and have it filmed?

If he skates well and doesn't look as if he has'crapped in his pants' then I will welcome his comments on other skaters.

Afterall, it's easier to look good when you are on terra firma but if you have just started skating and are a bit wobbly it's a different kettle of fish.

Why?

Jason is VERY clear that his marks reflect the performance and presentation aspect of the skate. He makes no assertion that he can do better on the ice and marks on the criteria that he knows.

I can't sing, but I know what a good singing performance sounds like. I can't skate, but I know what a good skating performance looks like.

Jason's marks are consistant and whilst some of is remarks sail close to the wind, he always has a point and if the contestant chooses to take the advice and work on it then they will show an improvement.

Personally I'm sick of all the stick that Jason gets - especially on the programme itself where Phillip and Holly really should keep their traps shut!

I wish they wouldn't go to Jason so often and let the other judges speak, but what he says it's true and if you analyse it quite constructive in terms of performance but he should realise it's early days!

If you want to see him skating, he is actually seen skating in the background on one of the tour DVD's, doing an impression of Kyran I think...anyway, he actually looks quite stable on his feet and with all the touring I bet he's gotten quite good!

Totally agree with you, apart from Phillip and Holly, I love them and they help make the show. But other than that I agree with you about Jason, he judges on the perfomance element, not the skating etc.

Well if he's going to judge on performance then do so, don't be so damn personal about it.

He's a nasty judge, plain cruel and usually gives no constructive advice.

I can't stand the man

TBF there wasn't a big difference between how many times they visited each judge. I started counting when I thought they appeared to be leaving Nicky out on Sunday.
