Quickie: RCA Cable Type Supplied with HDR

Hi all,

Received a Foxsat HDR from Currys but was a previously on display model and didn't come with any cables. The man at Currys got me some from store but the RCA cable he gave me was a stereo cable only.

Noticed in the manual that picture of the supplied cable has three connections. Does this mean that the standard cable supplied is a three core, stereo and video cable?

If so, I'll pop in to Currys and get it swapped.

Thanks, Mike

I wouldn't advise using the RCA cable for video if you can avoid it, it is just there to ensure you have choice but I would suggest using just SCART if you only have SD or HDMI if you have an HD Ready TV.

It's 3 core but unless you plan to connect say an external modulator you won't need it.

Thanks guys. I don't plan to use it for the HDR as it's already connected via HDMI but it's something that bugged me when I saw the picture. It will go in the ever increasing box of cables and pish in the garage never to be seen again until the next garage clear out.

Cheers, Mike
