Mia the Bunny Boiler??
Does Dev's girlfriend Mia, seem a bit unhinged? She's certainly pretty ruthless and manipulative, getting Dev to sack Sunita on her terms, and witholding her charms until he does! It just seems far fetched, she hardly has too many endearing qualities - telling Dev she's having a great relationship already witha married guy, and as Dev hasn't hardly kissed her yet, why would he really care enough to sack Sunita?? Anyone know what her game is?

Re: Mia the Bunny Boiler??
Funny that... my hubby said exactly that tonight.... bunny boiler.... and poor Sunita goes to her for representation for unfair dismissal.... i smell an intense storyline coming up.......

Mia
Funny that, Mia is a solicitor, she should know that he can't sack Sunita just like that.

I hope this story doesn't run and run. I can't stand Dev, he is the worst (soap) actor ever. The one that plays Mia is much better. I say let the two of them ride off into the sunset asap.

I have the same problem. That's the thing there has to be something that interests you about a character. I just don't care enough about him. And now this Mia woman, she's so boring it's like watching paint dry! Their only chance is if they can come up with a storyline that grabs us. I'm not hopeful!  Quote:

LOL Noooo you carry on Sugarbabe. She -is- irritating. Watch her eyebrows too.... There's that much shifting, raising and lowering, I swear they have each had their own acting lessons. Darn sight more than Maya anyhow. Quote:

Talking about eye contact or lack of it, watch Martin as he tends to avoid looking at the person he is speaking to until the very last couple of words its almost as if he is shy.

Yes! I've noticed that, although recently a lot of his scenes have involved awkward situations with Tommy and so he's rightly looking shifty like he can't wait to get the heck out of it! And who could blame him!! Quote:

Wow - well yes, it now seems in answer to my question last November, that Maya - at best is unhinged!
Does anyone know what the writers have planned? I think Dev is leaving soon - is this all going to reach a terrifying climax with Dev in the bath and her weilding the knife? Just like the famous bunny boiler herself, Glen Close? |

She should have run them both off the road last night and saved us viewers from a lot of pain this week.

I was actually growing quite fond of Maya last night - but then she slammed the brakes on a failed to kill Dev.

I agree so much, this storyline is appaling.
Not another mental woman! God, can they not go a couple of months without one? It's so dull. And Shelly's mother (sorry, can't remember the name) seems to be the next in line to go doolally, if scary, pop eyed Liz doesn't beat her to it... |

I think it was just after Dev came to the street. She claimed that Dev had said he was going to marry her, but then changed his mind. She claimed to have cut her wrists, but it was all lies. I cant remember her name, but I think she worked in The Rovers for a while. |

i think jimmy harshikin(dev)went to the william shatner acting school with the strange drawn-out speech.maya is a bit wooden for someone who's supposed to be mad.

In Maya's case she's suffering both, so cue staring with added head tilt, for extra emphasis! i think jimmy harshikin(dev)went to the william shatner acting school with the strange drawn-out speech.maya is a bit wooden for someone who's supposed to be mad.
