Im watching BB10 at the moment, which is ok, but BB7 All Stars was fantastic - Chilltown, Season 6, Legion of Doom. Unlike BB10 - they had allaince names! Plus it was great with Dr Will and Dannielle and Marcellas and Jannelle.

BB10 had the 'Renegades'.

BB7 was the best of the recent seasons, but BB2 and 3 the most entertaining. BB5 was fun too

I didn't really like All Stars. The people I was mainly interested in all went early and I never liked the Season 6 lot. It was also full of pointless players like Erika, Marcellas, Chicken George etc and most of them played quite poor games.

I actually liked George, he was sweet even though he was pointless. Erika I didnt mind that much but her spot could have gone to someone more interesting.

Marcellas was the most annoying! He was so self-righteous.

All-Stars was pretty good, but that was mainly because of Dr Will.

Season 6 dominated too much near the beginning, some likable people went too early and housemates that I loved in other seasons became unbearable arseholes...Marcellas, Howie, even Janelle at points.

Ruined by the final two as well.

I place BB2, BB3 and BB6 above it. Maybe BB10 because I loved watching Dan play the game.

Ooh sorry dont agree with you there - whilst I enjoyed seeing them all back, it really didnt go as it should have. Some of the best players left first, and the worst got to the end, which really sucked. I think people like Erika and George who werent really allstars had a hell of an advantage because the others knew they were nothing. I know it sounds daft, but if you swap Erika and George for the first two evictees, Ali and Nakomis the whole thing would have been a lot more interesting

That said I did enjoy the series a lot - even though I lost 3/5 of my alltime faves in the first 4 weeks

Imagine if Alison and Jase had survived towards the end. It would have been awesome! The season was seriously lacking risk-takers, most of them were playing it very safe...

As it was, I disagree that Dr Will made it great. I got very bored watching Chilltown controlling everything.

None of the S6'ers really came across very well at all in Allstars. Janelle maybe damaged her reputation the least because she proved her strong performance last time wasnt just a fluke.

True she proved she was a competitior and good at competitions.

But she also confirmed that she is a bad strategic player, she made so many lousy decisions in All-Stars and was manipulated by Chilltown right up until the final four.

I know, plus personality-wise I dont think she was as likeable. Most of them had gotten a bit smug after being popular last year.

Kaysar confirmed that he really was a bad player, and came across as a bit dull and boring. Howie was sort of funny in S6 but was just goofy and weird in BB7, whereas James came across as very unappealing in BB7, with the things he said about Janelle especially - whereas before he was just sneaky. They all damaged their reputations a lot.

I liked James still in All-Stars actually. He did go a bit too far with some of his comments but to be fair Janelle had just screwed him and gone back on her word.

I think, when it came to live feeds, season 7 was definitely the best. There was a lot of strategy, fun, and the whole Janelle/Will thing kept the boards hopping. When it came to the edited show though I had issues. I agree that Janelle didn't come off as well in the S7 aired show as she did S6, but watching the feeds I felt she was her normal fun self.

I still don't agree with Redmond that she has no strategy skills because while there were moves here and there that were bungled it was mostly execution that was the problem. She was the number #1 target of pretty much everyone and without aligning with Chilltown I'm not sure she was have made it as far. Don't get me wrong I don't think she's an amazing strategist just not the worst ever. She trusts people too much, and lets those she considers allies(Kaysar) change her mind when she's on the right track.

Also, James went into the show planning to backstab the S6 people so I don't see how Janelle putting up Diane, who James wanted to use against Janelle, was betrayal. JMO.

Yeah I totally agree with that. James was totally after Janelle early on - I think he has just bitter with his betrayal thing because he lost an oppurtunity to get Janey out - funny how he teamed up with the other woman who wanted Janelle out her straight after Diane left. (Dani)

I agree that I'm not sure Janelle had much options but to allign with Chilltown, because they were about the only people who actually wanted to keep her around. Everyone else hated her and wanted her gone.

I think she was manipulated a little bit, but she also kind of knew what she was doing.

S6 and S3 are by far the best.

Janelle (My fav US housemate ever) was much better in S6 too.

I sort of agreed with you, but I think even if she went into that alliance thinking she knew what she was doing, they obviously worked their magic over her, because she was all set to evict Erika before their discussion the night before Will's eviction.

I never understood how Janelle became such a big target earlier on mind - even though she won the first few competitions, there were so many other big targets out there, ones who were much better at the game than her.

Janelle didn't know what she was doing with Chilltown, hence herself saying she messed up the entire game and ended up evicting her friends like Marcellas and Howie.

I didn't know about James coming in to the show with the plan to backstab Season 6, I just went by what I saw at the time and I can't imagine why he'd want to turn on them, they were all good friends outside of the house and were dominating the game.

James didn't want to get rid of Jase but he did so because that is what Janelle and co wanted and in turn he wanted them to put up Chilltown the week after...Janelle didn't do this.

Diane was a good player, she couldn't be arsed in All-Stars though. One thing that ruined All-Stars was that most of them made alliances pre-show, they have to find a way to stop that happening if they do another All-Stars, as it is really unfair.

Yeah, I think Diane really couldnt be bothered with the whole thing, which is a shame because I hold her in extremely high regard when it comes to this game. I dont think she gets enough credit for her gameplay in BB5, where she not only got herself to the top 3, but carried Drew along with her, as well as drop essentially every single ally she had early in the game (Adria, Natalie, Karen, Nakomis) and still probably would have recieved their votes, despite never having a particularly pleasent personality. I dont think there was any point where she was in danger of being evicted - every time she was up she was used as a pawn, pretty much her own doing and she took the brunt of Jase and Scott's macho man shit. Her whole gameplay was essentially perfect - her only mistake was not realising that Drew was less of a wimp than she thought. Sadly, her Allstars experience was just terrible, and spawned probably the worst alliance of all time "the Mr. & Mrs. Smith alliance" with Jase, which achieved absolutely nothing. I think to be honest she just give up, which would be pretty hard not to do when your three primary allies all leave in the first three weeks, and your only other person is part of a bigger alliance that doesnt want you. (James)

I still have only seen the first week of BB6...I got annoyed when Alison was evicted haha Imagine how good 'Alison v Janelle' would have been if Alison had have survived!

I never understood how Erika got voted in, I could hardly remember her from BB4...I still can't think of anything memorable she did in that season, I just know Jee wasted an ally in Michelle by foolishly putting her up as a pawn against Erika. Dana would have been a more amusing option I thought.

Terrible season and a terrible idea to have allstars.
They all suffered with overgrown egos and were not like they were in their original series.
Not only that but the most pointless useless player won.

It convinced me that allstar uk version would be terrible.
Id rather remember them for their performance in their respective series rather than watch how they dissapoint in an allstars show.

Even without that issue the series was dull and going nowhere fast.
Gameplay was poor, even wills lazy evict me now routine got boring very quickly.
Id rate it in the bottom 5 easily.
BB9 being the worst of course, followed by BB1 and the one with holly in was pretty boring as well.

For me BB6,BB8,BB10 were the best.

As I've just mentioned on another thread, what other All-Star series can boast having their three best players making it to the final 6? BB All Stars had Will, Janelle and Danielle making it really far.

Survivor and The Amazing Race versions of All Stars ended up getting rid of most of the best players early.

I enjoyed Big Brother All Stars, not my favourite season and it was annoying how many Season 6's were in it but overall it was enjoyable. I loved watching Will play the game again, likewise Danielle and James.

BB2 and BB3 the best.

BB9 and BB8 the worst.
