ive got tickets for sunday are they all dancing this week?

also for anyone whos been wot time do u start queuing as its first come first served and i dont want to go all the way up there to be turbned away

Just wondered how long you've been on the reserve list?
I applied for series 2 but no joy as yet
Have'nt heard of anyone else who has been lucky enough to get tickets, there must be someone out there

it was my friend that got them she only applied just before the series started

If you don't have priority tickets where you're guaranteed entrance then you have to get there VERY early or you might not get in. They issue more tickets than they have seats and it's first-come-first-served.

Even with priority tickets, I believe it's better to be there early-ish too.

what sort of early in the morning?

I have been on the reserve list since series 1 and STILL never been offered main show tickets from the online site! Been lucky to have got tickets through someone else the last 2 series but that option is now not availalbe. Felt lucky to have got the tickets for the dress rehearsal though.

Be prepared to have a LONG wait although this week doors open a bit earlier due to the show starting earlier.

Go prepared with warm layers of clothes and don't forget a hat and gloves and waterproof jacket incase it rains! There is NO shelter you basically stand on the pavement and wait and wait and wait!!! Take an i pod or something if you think you'll get bored.

Also MacDonalds is just along the road SO its a good idea for one of you to head for supplies every so often while the other one keeps the place in the queue and can use the loos while your there as there arent any toilets provided until just before you get in the holding area.

Theres no parking on site so if you are going by car get there early to find somewhere to park apparantly there is a carpark nearby that costs £5 to park in all day no idea exactly where it is and we go by bus then walk!!

Some people bring folding seats but only do this if you have a car and its parked nearby cos you WONT be allowed them in with you.

If you are planning taking any banners then DONT attach them to canes or anything or you will have to bin them.

If you are one of the lucky ones to get in you are taken into the holding area where you can buy hot drinks and biscuits and then get given any instructions on do's and don't while in the studio.

If you need to know anything else feel free to ask. And above all good luck hope you get in and have a FAB time its a fantastic experience and once you know you're getting in then all the queuing in the cold is worth it!!

Just remembered something else try and wear thermal socks as we found our feet froze very quickly as it was about -2 all day and as you are standing on a pavement it is VERY cold.

Varies as to when we get there but earlier the better check what time its says doors are opening and aim to be there about 4-5hrs before that! We have always been there even earlier but thats just us depends on how determined you are to get in. You need to be about in the first 50-60 in the queue at this stage as each week less non priority get in IF you dont get in they usually offer you priority for another week whcih is why there are more priority tickets as the weeks go on then less non priority. 1st year we went we were there week 4 and we reackon there were about 60 non priority got in BUT the studio holds some more people now since they removed the area where defrosted used to be so this may be a bit different.

You really need to be there before lunchtime if you can,plus its an earlier start for the show this week. A lot of people take those small blankets to put over their shoulders to keep warm. You always get a shock when you see so many people already there!! Hope you enjoy the show I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

There always seems to be Celebs.....(I use the term loosly) in the Audience, so it might be like SCD, where they get priority and everyone else gets seats afterwards.

Theres so many production tickets ie families and friends of the celebs they get to go in the main entrance at the front so you don't see them.

Everyone else queues up together round the back of the studios so don't panic if theres loads of people at this point! At a set time the staff then comes and go down the queue and take out those with priority tickets they then get a wristband and taken to the holding area, after that they know how many of the non prioritys are getting in and they go back down the queue handing out wristbands of a different colour so they know whos who. Then they get taken over to the holding area then a few more usualy get given raffle tickets these people are unlikley to all get in these are like emergency tickets so that once everyones in IF there are any celeb no shows then the odd seats get filled by those with the raffle tickets.

so i wont get in if i get there about 2? i dontthink we can make it before then

Personally I wouldnt want to risk going that late BUT you may still get in just depends on the day really as to who turns up when.

I hope to hear both above stories like, I really want to know what happens when the videos are played as usually I would expect the audience also to see through various screens, although you never see them in DOI! So do they actually see the vts?
