can anyone please tell me if either the nokia 6300 or the 6500 slide will work in the usa ( on O2 ).cheers

Both the handset's you've asked about are tri-band handset's, so they should work in the USA. I'd recommend checking with your service provider that the plan or tariff your on will allow international roaming before departing from the UK.
